Mercedes M Klasse Fuel Mixture Issue

Sounds frustrating I had a similar problem with my M Klasse Did you check the fuel filter A clogged one can mess with the fuel mixture Was there any engine knock before the light came on Is it possible some bad gas got into the fuel system

Thanks for the quick reply So the fuel filter is something I considered but wouldn't that usually just cause a lack of power As for the engine knock I'm not entirely sure if it was there before the light It's subtle How did you resolve your issue Was it a simple fix or did you have to dive deep into the fuel system

In my case the engine knock was very noticeable It ended up being a faulty sensor but the symptoms were pretty much the same If you're not sure and especially with the stalling I'd suggest taking it to a workshop It could be a simple fix but it's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to the fuel mixture Do you want to risk causing more damage

Appreciate the advice Decided to take it to the workshop You were right it was a defective cable connection just like the error code suggested They replaced the faulty cable and the plug connection of the component and all seems well Cost me 95€ Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction
