Mercedes M Klasse Hybrid Central Locking Problem

My Mercedes M Klasse Hybrid from year 2010 has a central locking problem. The doors can't be locked or unlocked. Error memory shows an error related to the door locks. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Estimated repair cost is 95€, any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my old Volvo. The remote locking stopped working intermittently, then completely failed. Have you checked the key fob battery? It might sound simple, but it's often overlooked. If not, the car locks themselves could be the problem. Is the error code specific?

Thanks for the input. I took it to a workshop. Turns out a connector in the door had corroded. They cleaned it and everything works now. The repair cost was indeed 95€.
