Mercedes M Klasse hybrid engine problem solved

I have a problem with my 2010 Mercedes M Klasse hybrid The check engine light is on, engine power is reduced, engine response is poor, and fuel consumption has increased. A diagnostic indicates a faulty manifold pressure sensor. Could a large vacuum leakage cause this?

I had a similar issue with my M Klasse. It also pointed to the manifold pressure sensor. Have you checked for any obvious vacuum leaks around the intake manifold?

I have visually inspected it, but found nothing obvious. Where should I be looking for these vacuum leaks?

In my case, the leak was not easily visible. Given your symptoms and the code, sensor replacement is likely required. I suggest visiting a workshop for a professional diagnosis and sensor replacement.

I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on. It was the manifold pressure sensor and a large vacuum leak. The sensor replacement cost me 235€. Now everything is working perfectly again
