Did you also experience the engine shutting off completely? And how did you specifically check the battery and wiring? What were you looking for?

Yes, the engine shutting off was part of my issue too. I didn't check the voltage myself; I took it to a workshop. They diagnosed it as a faulty battery, which was causing the voltage sensor to throw errors. I would recommend getting it professionally diagnosed.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to a mechanic, and you were right – it was the hybrid battery. They replaced it, and the error is gone. Cost me around 290€, which is what I expected. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar problem with my ML hybrid. Check for battery warning lights or any other unusual electrical behavior. A heavily discharged or defective battery can cause these symptoms. It's worth investigating the battery and related electrical wiring first.
