Summary of the thread
A 2015 Mercedes ML with a gasoline engine displayed an oil pressure warning lamp and a speedometer warning light, suspected to be due to exceeding the maintenance interval, leading to potential engine oil contamination. Thanks, I haven't seen any oil leak. I haven't used oil additives recently either. Could oil sludge cause engine damage, and what's involved in fixing it?

Yeah, ignoring it could damage the engine. I'd get it checked soon. They flushed my engine and changed the oil filter, which fixed it. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the advice. I had it checked, and the maintenance interval was exceeded, causing oil sludge. An oil change and filter replacement fixed it, costing 165€.

I had something similar with my ML. The oil pressure light came on, and it was oil sludge. Have you seen any oil leak, or used oil additives? That could be part of it.
