Where exactly is the fuel pump connector located? Is it easy to get to without special car mechanics tools? I haven't checked the fuel filter. Could that really cause all these symptoms?

The connector is usually near the fuel tank. Access depends on your model's design; sometimes it's straightforward, other times not so much. Given the symptoms and the error code, a faulty connection seems plausible. But yes, a clogged fuel filter can restrict fuel flow, leading to rough running and higher fuel consumption. If you're unsure, I'd suggest a visit to the workshop.

Turns out it was a corroded connector at the fuel pump, just like you said. Cleaned it up, and everything's back to normal. Repair cost 95€. Thanks again!
