Mercedes SLC Climate Control Problem

My 2019 Mercedes SLC diesel is having climate control issues. The automatic temperature control isn't working, and the AC won't turn on. There's an error about the interior temperature sensor. Could a cable or plug connection be the problem?

Good idea about the contacts. I haven't checked the sensor yet. Where is the interior temperature sensor located in the SLC? Did you have the same symptoms no AC and an error code?

Yes, exact same symptoms. No AC, error code. The sensor was near the center console, possibly behind the trim. But messing with the trim can cause more problems. It's probably best to take it to a workshop. They should be able to diagnose it quickly, especially if it's just a cable or plug connection.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and it was a faulty connection to the interior temperature sensor. The repair was 95€. Annoying, but at least it's fixed.
