Mercedes SLC Diesel Sun Blind Problem

That's frustrating I had a similar sunshade failure on my old BMW Was it making any strange noises beforehand Did you check the fuse It might be a simple fix

Thanks for the suggestion There were no strange noises before it stopped I haven't checked the fuse yet Is it usually a dedicated fuse for the sun visor or shared I'm also considering replacing the motor

I can't recall if the BMW had a dedicated fuse It was a while ago If the fuse is fine it's likely the motor If there were no noises I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to avoid further damage

You were right it was the motor The fuse was fine I took it to a shop and the repair cost about what I expected Thanks for the help
