Yes, now that you mention it, I have also noticed hesitation during acceleration. Your experience sounds very similar. Was replacing the air temperature sensor sufficient to resolve the engine issues? Did you perform any other car diagnostics after the replacement?

Indeed, replacing the intake air temperature sensor was sufficient to resolve the engine issues in my case. However, it is important to note that if the issue persists, it is advisable to consult a professional workshop. They will be able to conduct comprehensive diagnostics of the engine, ensuring that there are no underlying problems.

Thanks for the advice. I replaced the intake air temperature sensor, and the check engine light is now off. The engine is running smoothly, and the hesitation during acceleration is gone. Repair cost was around 155€. Appreciate the help!

I have a Mercedes SLC as well, and I experienced similar engine issues. I believe it presented itself with similar symptoms as yours. The car diagnostics pointed to a faulty intake air temperature sensor, triggering the check engine light and impacting the engine performance. Are you also experiencing hesitation during acceleration?
