Mercedes SLC Washer System Failure

My Mercedes SLC Diesel built in is having issues with the headlight cleaning system, it has completely stopped working. The windshield washer system is also dead. I've checked the fuses and tried clearing any potential clogs in the washer nozzles, but no luck. Could this be a faulty pump or relay connection? Has anyone else experienced this before?

The Mercedes SLC is experiencing a failure in both the headlight and windshield washer systems. I am referring to the singular pump responsible for supplying fluid to both the windshield and headlight washers. On my vehicle, the pump is near the washer fluid reservoir, typically mounted to the reservoir itself. However, the precise location may vary slightly. Should your inspection prove inconclusive, I would recommend consulting with a qualified automotive technician for a diagnostic assessment. It may also be prudent to verify the functionality of the relevant relay, as a defective relay could impede the operation of the pump.

Took your advice and got it checked out. It WAS a corroded cable connection to the pump, just like you suspected! 165€ later and everything is working again. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
