I understand your concern regarding the windshield washer heater malfunction in your Mercedes SLC I encountered a similar predicament with my previous vehicle, a 2014 Volvo V60 The symptoms you described mirror my experience Have you checked the washer fluid concentration to ensure it is appropriate for the ambient temperature In my case, the issue was not solely electrical; partially clogged nozzles contributed to the problem Is the heating element receiving power Have you inspected the relevant fuses and relays A multimeter would be useful for such diagnostics I eventually had to replace the heating element in my Volvo Do you have a wiring diagram for your Mercedes

Thank you for your detailed response I do not currently possess a wiring diagram However, I am curious about your experience with clogged nozzles Were the nozzles completely blocked, or was there merely a reduction in flow What method did you employ to address the nozzle blockage, assuming that was indeed the issue

Regarding the clogged nozzles in my Volvo, the blockage was partial but sufficient to impede proper spray function, especially in conjunction with the malfunctioning heating element I attempted to clear the nozzles using a fine needle and compressed air, but the underlying issue persisted Considering the potential complexity of diagnosing electrical faults and the presence of an error code, I would recommend consulting a qualified technician The cost for a new heater including work is 95€, is it worth the hassle
