Summary of the thread
A 2010 Mercedes V Klasse experienced climate control issues, including a dead panel, a 'heating output too low' error, and a non-functional AC. The initial suspicion was a bad cable or connector. After consulting with others, it was advised to check the wiring harness and connectors. Ultimately, a faulty connector was identified and repaired at a shop, resolving the problem.

Thanks for the reply. Could you be more specific about which wiring harness or connectors I should check first?

On the Volvo, it was a nightmare. It ended up being a connector near the blower motor resistor. Honestly, with electrical faults like this, especially if you suspect the wiring harness, you might be better off letting a shop take a look. It could save you a lot of trouble. Good luck!

I appreciate the advice. I took the car to a shop as you suggested. It was a faulty connector, and the repair was 95€. Everything is working now.

Electrical gremlins are the worst! I had similar issues with my old Volvo. The AC quit and the blower motor went crazy. Check your wiring harness and connectors, they can corrode or come loose. Do you know where to start looking?
