Mercedes V Klasse Massage Function Fault

My Mercedes V Klasse, 2010 build, diesel engine, has a massage function problem. It's not working and there's an error stored. Could a defective cable or plug connection be the cause? This switch failure is concerning.

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar electrical issue with the massage chair in my old BMW 7 series. Was there any work done on the seat recently? Have you checked the fuses? Sometimes it's something simple like that.

Thank you. I haven't done any work on the seat recently. Which fuse did you check? Is the fuse box diagram easy to understand or should I visit a workshop?

I don't know which exact fuse it was, but I recommend checking the fuse box diagram in your owner's manual. If you're not comfortable, it's best to go to a workshop. That's what I did.

I appreciate the suggestion. I took my vehicle to the workshop, where the cable connection was identified as the problem. The repair cost was 95€. Thank you for your help.
