Mercedes V Klasse Sun Blind Problem

My 2006 Mercedes V Klasse Diesel has a sun blind issue. The rear window visor is stuck, and the error memory shows a fault. I think it's the motor. Has anyone else had this problem with their car's sunshade? What was the repair cost? I'm guessing around 330€.

That's rough! I had the same problem with my V Klasse. The car interior gets so hot when the sun visor isn't working. Have you checked the fuse? It could be a simple fix.

Thanks for the suggestion! I checked the fuses, and they seem okay. The error message points to the motor. Was yours completely stuck, or did it work sometimes? Any other thoughts before I pay for a new motor?

Mine was completely dead, just like yours. It's probably the motor. Just take it to a workshop. At least you'll have working car sunshades again!

Thanks for the information! I went to the workshop, and you were right; it was the motor. The cost was exactly what I expected. At least I have sun protection and a working sun visor now.
