Thanks for the quick reply I did give the wiring a quick once-over, but honestly, it looked alright from what I could see Did your window motor fail completely, or was it intermittent before it died Do you remember if you had to take the entire door panel off to get to the switch, or is there some clever shortcut I really don't want to break any of those plastic clips holding the door panel on

In my case, the window motor did not fail The car window ceased functioning abruptly Yes, it was necessary to remove the door panel to access the power window switch, and it is advisable to exercise caution when detaching the panel to prevent damage to the retaining clips If you are uncertain about proceeding, consulting a qualified automotive repair technician may be prudent

You were spot on It WAS the switch Took the door panel off (carefully), replaced the switch, and BAM Windows are working again Thanks so much for the advice, really appreciate it Saved me a ton of stress and probably a boatload of cash I would have spent at the workshop

I drive the same model and encountered a similar problem not long ago The symptoms you describe are consistent with a faulty power window switch Have you inspected the wiring harness that connects to the switch A loose connection or damaged wire could also be the source of the malfunction
