Mercedes X Klasse Sunroof Problem Solved

My 2018 Mercedes X Klasse with a diesel engine has a problem. It only has 17309 km on the odometer. The sunroof system isn't working and shows a "sunroof not initialized" error. The sunblind is stuck, and the convertible top won't open or close. Some coding was recently done on the car, so I suspect that might be related. I'm thinking about a sunroof calibration or reset. Has anyone else had sunroof difficulties and can offer advice?

Yes, I checked the sunroof control module, but diagnostics didn't show anything obvious. Can you give me more detail about your experience? Were there any diagnostic codes, or what did you do to fix it?

It was a while ago, but it sounds very similar. I just took it to a workshop, and they fixed it quickly. It's probably best to avoid making things worse.

Thanks. I took it to a Mercedes-Benz technician. The coding had corrupted the sunroof module's settings. A sunroof calibration fixed it, and it cost 75€.
