Micra bumper antenna malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Nissan Micra diesel with 244,284 km is experiencing issues with the bumper antenna, leading to unlocking/locking malfunctions and the engine not starting without the key in the ignition. The error memory indicates a defective cable or plug connection. A suggested solution is to check the antenna connections for loose or corroded connectors, as these can cause electrical issues. The problem was resolved by addressing a corroded connector at a workshop for 97€.

Thanks for the tip! Radio reception is indeed poor. Where exactly should I be looking for these antenna connections on the Micra? Are they easily accessible, or do I need to disassemble parts of the bumper?

Given the radio issue and the other symptoms, it strongly points to the antenna wiring. On my Juke, accessing it required removing part of the bumper. Given the described symptoms and the potential complexity I would suggest a visit to a workshop.

You were spot on. Took it to a workshop, and it was indeed a corroded connector on the antenna. 97€ later, everything's working perfectly again. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I had something similar on my Nissan Juke. Check the antenna connections first. A loose or corroded connector can cause all sorts of weird electrical gremlins. Is your radio reception also affected? That was the first sign for me.
