Mini Cabrio Blower Motor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Mini Cabrio experienced a blower motor failure, suspected to be caused by a faulty AUC sensor or a defective cable or plug connection. A suggestion was made to check the cable and plug connection to the AUC sensor. The issue was confirmed by a workshop to be a defective connection on the AUC sensor, which was replaced, resolving the blower motor problem.

Thanks for the tip! When you say similar issue, do you mean the exact same symptoms - completely dead blower? And where exactly is that AUC sensor located? I'm trying to get a better understanding before I start poking around.

Yes, the blower was completely dead. As for the location, I'm afraid I can't recall exactly where it is. I would suggest taking it to a workshop. They should be able to diagnose it quickly. I really don't know what else to suggest.

Just wanted to let you know that your suspicion was spot on. The workshop confirmed a defective connection on the BMW AUC sensor. The HVAC sensor was replaced, and the blower is working again. Total cost was 95€. Thanks for the advice!

That's odd. I had a similar issue with my Mini's climate control. The blower motor wouldn't kick in. Have you checked the cable and plug connection to the AUC sensor? It's a long shot, but it might be worth a look. I'm not entirely sure this is the problem though.
