Fuel delivery, eh? Ok, that makes sense. When you had that issue, were the symptoms exactly the same? And did checking the connection solve it for you?

Yep, same symptoms. I tried fiddling with the connector, cleaning it, the usual stuff, but it was a goner. I'd suggest just taking it to a workshop to get it sorted, unless you have the tools to measure the fuel pressure yourself.

Just wanted to give you a heads up. The workshop diagnosed it as a defective fuel pressure sensor, likely some dodgy connection. They replaced it for 95€ and now the Mini runs like a dream again. Thanks for your help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Mini – check engine light, rough idle, the works. It could be the fuel delivery system, maybe a faulty pressure sensor messing with the fuel injector timing and causing engine misfire. Have you checked the sensor's cable and plug connection?
