That sounds worrying. First, have you checked the oil level with the dipstick? Also, what does the oil color look like? Is there any sign of an oil leak? An oil pressure warning lamp suggests insufficient lubrication, which can definitely lead to engine damage if ignored.

Contaminated oil will often appear darker, sometimes sludgy. If it's significantly different from fresh oil, that's a clue. Given the warning light and potential for engine damage, I would recommend taking it to a workshop immediately. They can properly diagnose the issue and check the oil filter as well.

Just wanted to update. It was indeed the exceeded maintenance interval. Changed the oil, oil filter and all is good now. The repair cost me 165€. Thanks for the help!
