Where exactly is the antenna booster located? And how did you figure out it was the problem?

Yeah, mine did the same thing. The antenna booster is usually near the base of the antenna. Honestly, I didn't diagnose it myself. I took it to a workshop, and they ran some tests on the vehicle electronics. They said the antenna wasn't getting enough power, which pointed to the booster. If you're not comfortable doing electrical work, I'd suggest taking it to a professional. It could save you a lot of headaches.

Just wanted to give an update. Took it to a shop and you were spot on, it was the antenna. They replaced it, cost me 255€. Radio's working perfectly again. Thanks a bunch for the help!

That sounds really familiar! I had a similar problem with my Mini Cabrio. The FM signal was terrible, lots of static noise. Have you checked the antenna booster? That was the culprit in my case. It's a common issue apparently. Does the error message appear constantly, or just intermittently?
