Mini Cabrio Transmission Issues

My 2005 Mini Cabrio with the gasoline engine is exhibiting transmission issues. The MIL illuminates intermittently, and I'm pulling error codes related to the transmission oil pressure sensor. Symptoms include occasional emergency mode engagement, unclean shifts or slippage, and some grinding noises during gear changes. Suspect low gearbox oil level. Thoughts?

I had similar transmission issues with my Mini. Is it throwing any specific codes?

Codes are P0715 and P0717, both relating to the transmission sensor. Did you have the same? Did topping up the oil solve the issue?

Yep, those DTCs sound familiar. Topping up the oil didn't fix it. Had to take it to a workshop.

Acknowledged. DTC pointed to the transmission sensor, alongside low oil level as suspected. Repair cost 365€. Thanks for the input, appreciated.
