Mini Clubman AC Issue

I am experiencing an issue with the air conditioning system in my 2014 Mini Clubman. The air conditioning system does not switch on, resulting in a lack of cooling. An error is stored in the error memory, and the suspected cause is undervoltage in the vehicle. Could this be related to the AC relay or the pressure sensor?

Sounds like a similar issue I had with my old Renault. The air conditioning would suddenly stop working, and it turned out to be a faulty pressure switch in the A/C system. Have you checked the AC relay and pressure sensor? It's like a fuse blowing in your house, sometimes it's the fuse itself, sometimes it's a bigger problem.

Thank you for your reply. When you say pressure switch, do you mean the pressure sensor that regulates the A/C system, or is it a separate component? Also, how did you diagnose the issue on your Renault?

Yes, I meant the pressure sensor. I didn't diagnose it myself, I took it to a workshop. They mentioned the pressure sensor was sending incorrect readings, causing the A/C compressor to shut off to protect the A/C system. Given the undervoltage error you have, I'd recommend having the A/C system checked professionally.

I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I took the car to a workshop, and it seems the undervoltage was indeed the culprit. They addressed the issue, and the A/C system is now functioning correctly. The bill came to 240€. Thank you again for your assistance.
