Mini Clubman Air Suspension Problem

I am experiencing some issues with my 2014 Mini Clubman. The vehicle has done 104486 km. It seems the air suspension is faulty. The car can no longer lift, and it's leaning to one side. There's an error message in the speedometer, and the ride is quite bumpy. An error is also stored in the error memory. Could a defective suspension air bag valve be the likely cause?

Sounds like a classic air suspension issue. Have you checked for any obvious air leaks around the shock absorber or the air lines? Also, what's the exact error code stored in the system?

Yeah, a defective valve is a strong possibility given the symptoms and the error code. The leaning and inability to lift are telltale signs. It's best to get it checked out at a workshop. They can properly diagnose the air suspension issue and replace the faulty components.

I haven't specifically checked for air leaks myself, but the error message points towards the suspension system. Where exactly should I be looking for these air leaks? Is there a common spot they occur in the air suspension?

Just wanted to give you an update. Took the Clubman to the workshop as you suggested. Turns out the suspension air bag valve was indeed defective, just like the error memory said. They replaced it, and the ride height is back to normal. Total cost was 590€. Thanks for your help!
