Yes, I had the check engine light and error codes. I didn't pinpoint it myself, to be honest. After checking the basics, I took it to a workshop. Given your symptoms, especially the error code, a leak in the exhaust system is a strong possibility. It might be best to get it checked professionally.

Appreciate the insight. Turns out you were spot on. Took it to the workshop, and they found a leak in the exhaust system. Repair cost me 265€. Running smoothly now.

Uneven running and jerking? Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Clubman. Have you checked the air filter and spark plugs? Also, a faulty crankshaft sensor can cause similar problems. It's like a bad conductor in an orchestra, throwing everything off.
