Mini Clubman engine misfiring

Hey, my 2010 Mini Clubman is giving me headaches. It's got about 100697 km on it, and I'm getting some serious engine misfiring. The engine runs rough, the check engine light comes on, and it feels like it's jerking when I try to accelerate. Definitely feels like reduced engine power too. I've heard it might be a defective injection valve or injector. Anyone else had this?
