Thanks for the reply. I'll check the spark plugs. How did you figure out the fuel pump was the problem?

In my case, the failing fuel pump did not provide sufficient fuel under acceleration, leading to engine misfires. However, given the symptoms you describe, particularly the persistent engine misfiring, a defective fuel injector is a plausible explanation. It would be advisable to consult a qualified mechanic for a comprehensive diagnosis. It is often more efficient to avail oneself of professional diagnostic equipment to pinpoint the precise source of the malfunction.

Big thanks for the help! Turns out it was indeed the fuel injector. Got it fixed for 515€. Runs like new now!

Hello. I am sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing with your Mini Clubman. Engine misfiring can stem from a multitude of potential causes. I experienced similar symptoms in my Mini – a comparable lack of throttle response, alongside the check engine light illuminating intermittently. Have you inspected the condition of your spark plugs? Furthermore, has the fuel pump's functionality been assessed? It would be prudent to verify these components before exploring more intricate diagnostic avenues.
