Mini Clubman Passenger Seat Unresponsive

Alright, this is infuriating. The passenger automotive seat in my 2023 Mini Clubman is completely unresponsive. I've scanned the error memory and it throws a fault code pointing towards 'battery heavily discharged or defective'. Seriously? Seat adjustment not possible. Is this a common thing?

I had a similar issue with my Clubman's passenger seat a while back. Seat adjustment was completely unresponsive. Did you check the seat switch itself for any obvious damage or loose connections? Is it only the passenger seat that's affected?

Yeah, the battery thing threw me off too. I even tried charging mine before realizing it wasn't the real problem. Honestly, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop for proper diagnostics. They can pinpoint the exact cause, which might be more than just the power seats.

Confirmed. As suspected, the culprit was the battery. Replaced it, and the electric seat is back in action. Error code's gone too. Total damage: 290€.
