Mini Clubman power window issue
Summary of the thread
The 2011 Mini Clubman Diesel is experiencing non-functional power windows, with an error stored in the vehicle's error memory. The likely cause is identified as a defective window regulator. Suggestions include checking the fuses, inspecting the window track for jams, and considering the power window switch as potential issues. Ultimately, the problem was confirmed to be the window regulator, which required professional replacement.

When you mentioned the window track being jammed, what exactly do you mean by that? Is it something I can visually inspect?

Thanks for the reply! I did check the fuses, and they seem to be fine. The error memory indeed refers to the ECU. I'm leaning towards a faulty window regulator or potentially the power window switch.

Just wanted to give you an update. You were right. Took it to the workshop, and they confirmed it was indeed the window regulator. Replacement cost me around 200€. Thanks again for your help!

Whoa, sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane, although it wasn't exactly the same. My power windows just stopped working out of the blue. Have you checked the fuses? Sometimes it's the simple things that get overlooked. If the fuses are ok, it could be the window motor itself, or even the window track being jammed. By the way, when you say "error memory", are you referring to the car's ECU (Engine Control Unit) storing a diagnostic trouble code?
