Mini Clubman rough running and check engine light

Alright, so my 2019 Mini Clubman diesel is acting up. The engine's running rough, the check engine light is on, and the error memory mentions "reset quantity drift compensation". From what I've read, it could be a defective injection valve or injector. Anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts?

Rough running and a check engine light on your Clubman sounds concerning. I had a similar issue with my Mini – I think it's a Cooper – a while back. Is it flagging anything specific about car sensors, maybe related to fuel injection or airflow sensors? Could be a compensation adjustment issue. Have you checked for any other error codes besides the general check engine light?

Thanks for the reply! You mentioned car sensors related to fuel injection. Was your problem also related to the injectors themselves, or something else like the airflow sensor? I'm wondering if it's worth checking those before going straight to replacing the injectors.

Yeah, mine ended up being a faulty injector too, if I remember correctly. It's probably best to get it checked out by a workshop to confirm, but it does sound similar. They can properly diagnose which injector is causing the problem. It's not always easy to pinpoint without the right tools. Could be performance tuning related as well, hard to say.

Just wanted to give an update. Took it to a workshop and they confirmed it was an injector issue. They replaced it, and the error is gone. Cost me 515€, but at least it's running smoothly now. Thanks for the advice, it really helped!
