Mini Clubman rough running and stalling

So my 2021 Mini Clubman is giving me grief. Check engine light's on, engine's running rough, it stalls at idle sometimes, and jerks when I try to accelerate. I'm suspecting the fuel pressure sensor. Could a defective cable or plug connection cause all this? Anyone else seen this?

I had something similar with my Mini Clubman. Check engine light, rough idle... sound familiar? Was your fuel economy also in the toilet? Could be the pressure sensor. My Mini threw similar fits.

Okay, maybe not EXACTLY, but close. I didn't dig too deep myself. I just took it to the workshop. They ran diagnostics and pointed to the fuel pressure sensor and a possible wiring issue. Definitely get it checked out though. Fuel pump problems are no fun.

When you say similar, are we talking EXACTLY the same symptoms? Did yours also stall at idle and jerk like crazy when accelerating? And how did you figure out it was the pressure sensor cable?

Just wanted to close the loop on this. Turns out it was indeed the cable/plug connection to the fuel pressure sensor. 95€ later and she's running smooth again. Thanks for the help!
