When you encountered this, was the error message consistent, or did it appear intermittently? Furthermore, did you attempt a battery replacement yourself, or was a workshop visit required?

The error message was consistent. I initially considered a DIY battery replacement but, lacking specialized tools and diagnostic equipment, I opted to take it to a workshop. They confirmed the battery failure and performed the battery replacement.

Thank you for the confirmation. I took the Mini Cooper to the workshop, and as suspected, the auxiliary battery was the culprit. Battery replacement including labor totaled 290€. All electrical malfunctions have ceased, and engine start is now nominal.

I experienced a similar issue with my Mini Cooper Electric. Error messages appeared on the speedometer, and the car occasionally struggled to start. Have you checked the voltage of the auxiliary battery? A significant voltage drop could indicate a battery malfunction.
