Mini Cooper Electric Massage Seat Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Mini Cooper Electric had a malfunctioning massage seat switch, with the error memory indicating a cable or plug connection issue. The problem was characterized by the switch being completely unresponsive, with no illumination. The suggested solution was to have the vehicle checked at a workshop, where it was confirmed that a defective cable was the cause. The issue was resolved with a repair costing 95€.

Fuses are fine, and the seat switch doesn't light up at all. When yours failed, was the switch also completely unresponsive, or did it show some signs of life?

Yes, mine was completely unresponsive too; no lights, nothing. Based on your symptoms and the error code, it's highly likely to be a faulty connection. Given the potential cost, I would suggest having it checked at a workshop. It's probably best to get it sorted by a professional.

Confirmed, resolved at the workshop. Turns out the error memory was correct, and a cable was indeed defective. 95€ later, my massage seat is working again. Thanks for the insight.

I had a similar issue with my Mini Cooper's massage seat. The massage setting was simply unavailable. It was quite odd. Have you checked the fuses? Also, does the seat switch illuminate at all when you press it, or is it completely dead?
