Thanks for the reply. No recent maintenance. Where exactly is this clutch switch located? I'd like to give it a look myself before taking it in.

The clutch switch is typically located near the top of the clutch pedal arm, where it pivots. Given the symptoms you've described and the diagnostic information, it is plausible that the cable or plug connection of the component is defective. Considering the potential safety implications of a malfunctioning clutch switch (particularly its role in the car starting and cruise control disengagement), I would advise against prolonged attempts at self-diagnosis without proper expertise. It might be prudent to consult a qualified technician to perform a comprehensive inspection and effect the necessary repairs.

Just wanted to give an update. It was indeed the clutch pedal switch. The workshop replaced it, and everything is working fine now. Thanks for your help!

Based on your description, it appears you are encountering an issue with the clutch pedal switch circuit. The symptoms you described, such as the gear selection display malfunction and cruise control inoperability, strongly suggest a problem with this component. Has the vehicle undergone any recent maintenance or repairs that might have disturbed the wiring in that area? Additionally, have you inspected the clutch switch and its connector for any signs of physical damage, such as corrosion or loose wiring?
