Yeah, fuel composition was one of the errors I saw, plus some misfires. Given your mileage and the electrical fault code, it might be worth having a workshop take a look. I ended up taking mine in, and they sorted it out pretty quickly.

Interesting. When you say 'similar', did you also get an incorrect fuel composition error? I was thinking about checking the fuel filter, but with the mileage and the fault code pointing to an electrical issue, I am not sure where to start precisely.

Turns out it was a defective cable connection, just as suspected. They were able to repair it for around 95€. Thanks for the tip, appreciate you sharing your experience.

I had something similar happen with my Mini Cooper. Engine was acting funny, and the check engine light was on. Have you checked your fuel filter lately? Could be fuel contamination causing issues with the combustion chamber and leading to engine knock. When's the last time you changed it?
