Mini Cooper Keyless Access Failure

Okay, so I'm officially losing it with my 2020 Mini Cooper, which has about 171006 km on the clock. Suddenly, the keyless access isn't working anymore! And of course, there's an error stored in the memory now. Is this some kind of sick joke? I'm thinking it might be a cable or plug issue in the door electronics, maybe something to do with the door actuator or locking system. Has anyone else had this happen?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Mini. The keyless entry stopped working out of nowhere. Did you check the door switch? Could be a faulty connection there.

Door switch, huh? Where exactly is that located? Is it something I can check myself, or am I better off just taking it to a mechanic?

Yep, same symptoms. The door locking system just gave up. Honestly, unless you're comfortable fiddling with car door electronics, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. It could save you a headache.

Just wanted to give you a heads up! Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. It was a defective plug connection in the door electronics. 95€ later, the keyless entry is working like a charm again! Thanks a bunch for the help!
