Thanks for the quick reply! Good call on the alternator. I'll check that out. When you had the similar issue, did you also experience a lot of fault memory entries? And did replacing the alternator or the car battery solve the problem for you?

Yep, same symptoms. Lots of error codes, and it all pointed back to the battery. If the alternator checks out okay, I'd definitely focus on the car battery. Honestly, unless you're comfortable doing some serious electrical troubleshooting, it might be worth taking it to a workshop. Electrical issues can be a real pain to diagnose correctly.

Just wanted to give you an update! You were totally right. Turns out the battery in my Mini Cooper was causing all sorts of chaos. I got it replaced for 290€ and the overvoltage errors are gone, car electronics are now working properly and she's starting like a champ again. Thanks a million for pointing me in the right direction!

Sounds like a nasty electrical issue. I had something similar happen with my Mini Cooper a while back. Tons of weird errors popping up, and the battery seemed weak. Have you checked your alternator? A failing alternator can cause overvoltage and fry your car ECU. Also, a bad car battery can cause a lot of strange electrical problems in these cars.
