Good point about the parasitic draw. How would I best test for that on the Mini's electrical system? Any specific points to check or methods you'd recommend?

Parasitic draw can be tricky. But if the battery is weak and the sensor is suspect, honestly, I'd take it to a workshop. They have the right tools to diagnose the electrical system properly.

The battery sensor was the culprit. Replaced it, and the low battery error is gone. Lights are stable, and it starts perfectly now. Cost me 315€ Thanks for the input.

That sounds like a real pain. Have you checked the battery terminals for corrosion or loose connections? What about parasitic draw? Maybe something is staying on when the car is off.
