Thank you for sharing your experience. I appreciate the insight. You mentioned a sensitive electrical system. Could you elaborate on how a discharged or defective battery directly impacts the functionality of the rear window heating specifically? I am trying to understand the underlying mechanism.

Certainly. Think of it like a chain reaction. A weak battery can cause voltage drops, which can then affect various components, including the rear window heating. In my case, after confirming the battery issue, I opted to visit a workshop to avoid further complications. They were able to diagnose the problem quickly and recommend a replacement. I suggest you do the same.

I appreciate the insights you provided. I took the Mini to a workshop, and they confirmed the battery was indeed the culprit, as suspected. The error memory also indicated the same. After replacing it, the rear window heating is now functioning correctly. The total cost amounted to 290€. Thank you again for your assistance.

I had a similar issue with my Mini Cooper some time ago. The rear window heating was not working, and it turned out that the battery was the cause. The electrical system in these cars can be quite sensitive. Have you checked the battery's voltage? Is it the original battery or has it been replaced?
