Can you elaborate on the connection between the odor sensor, which I understand is also referred to as the AUC sensor, and the blower motor functionality? I am trying to grasp how a sensor fault could lead to complete blower motor failure.

Yes, mine was completely dead too. I tried to troubleshoot myself, but eventually I took it to a workshop. They identified the faulty sensor and replaced it. It resolved the issue immediately. I would recommend a professional diagnosis.

Interesting. I had a similar problem with my Countryman's blower motor not working. It turned out to be related to the odor sensor – also called an air quality sensor. This sensor is used for the auto recirculation function, so if it malfunctions, it can affect the blower. Did you check the fuse?
