Mini Countryman Diesel Oil Pressure Warning
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Mini Countryman diesel is experiencing an oil pressure warning light and error memory issue. How did you figure out it was the temperature sensor? Was it the same oil temperature warning light?

Yes, it was the same oil temperature warning light. To confirm, the workshop ran car diagnostics and found a faulty engine temperature sensor. Think of it like a bad thermometer in your house, giving you the wrong reading. If you have the same symptoms, it's likely the same issue. I suggest a visit to the workshop.

Just wanted to update you were spot on! Took my Mini Countryman diesel to the workshop, they ran car diagnostics and found the oil temperature sensor was indeed faulty. They mentioned something about the cable connection being dodgy. Cost me 95€ to fix. Thanks for the help!

I had a similar issue with my Countryman. The oil gauge was acting up, and a warning light kept popping up. Have you checked the temperature sensor? It might be the culprit.
