Mini Countryman Electric Error Active Memory Lock

The 2023 Mini Countryman Electric I own keeps throwing errors. Automotive diagnostics indicate an active memory lock. Is undervoltage a likely cause?

I had a similar issue with my Countryman. The error memory kept logging faults. Have you checked your battery's condition? A weak battery or issues with the charging system can often cause seemingly random errors in the control unit. It might be worth investigating before diving into more complex diagnostics.

Thanks for the suggestion. Can you elaborate? Was your issue specifically an active memory lock, or just general error codes? What auto repair steps did you take?

Yes, the error I got was specifically related to the active memory and control unit. In my case, it was solved by a visit to the workshop though. They ran some diagnostics and reset everything. It may be worth checking with them.

The repair shop confirmed undervoltage and found error stored in auto repair memory. They cleared the active memory lock and performed some ECU diagnostics. Ended up costing 240€. Thanks for your input.
