Mini Countryman Electric Fault Code

Alright, I'm officially stumped. My 2023 Mini Countryman Electric has thrown a fault code. I'm getting reduced engine power, and the error is stored in the error memory. I suspect it might be related to some dodgy chip tuning a previous owner might have done. Anyone else run into something similar?

Yep, reduced engine power was exactly what I experienced! And after a bit of digging with the auto scanner, it turned out the previous owner had installed a tuning chip. I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop. They can probably reset the ECU to its original settings.

Just wanted to update this thread. Took the Countryman to the shop, and you were spot on. The car diagnostic confirmed the suspicion: faulty chip tuning was causing the engine issue. They reset everything and removed the tune. Cost me 180€, but at least the reduced engine power issue is gone. Thanks again for your help!
