Yes, the air leak was coming from the valve on top of the shock absorber. The workshop confirmed it was a common failure point. I'd suggest getting it checked out by a professional to be sure, but the symptoms sound identical.

That sounds awfully familiar. When you say 'air leak,' where exactly should I be looking? Is there a specific area of the suspension system that's more prone to failure?

It was indeed the suspension air bag valve. Got it sorted at the workshop for 590€. Thanks for the insight, it saved me a lot of diagnostic time.

I had a similar issue with my Countryman. The ride height was all over the place, and the car was leaning noticeably. It also felt like I was driving a brick. Have you checked for any signs of an air leak around the suspension components?
