Mini Countryman Hybrid Air Suspension Problems

Experiencing some serious issues with the air suspension on my 2018 Mini Countryman Hybrid. The vehicle is no longer lifting, resulting in a noticeable lean and a rather bumpy ride. I've got an error stored in the memory, and a warning message pops up on the speedometer. From what I've gathered, it seems like a defective suspension air bag valve is the likely culprit. Anyone else encountered something similar?

I had a similar issue with my Countryman. The ride height was all over the place, and the car was leaning noticeably. It also felt like I was driving a brick. Have you checked for any signs of an air leak around the suspension components?

Yes, the air leak was coming from the valve on top of the shock absorber. The workshop confirmed it was a common failure point. I'd suggest getting it checked out by a professional to be sure, but the symptoms sound identical.

That sounds awfully familiar. When you say 'air leak,' where exactly should I be looking? Is there a specific area of the suspension system that's more prone to failure?

It was indeed the suspension air bag valve. Got it sorted at the workshop for 590€. Thanks for the insight, it saved me a lot of diagnostic time.
