Mini Countryman Hybrid Gearbox Problems

My 2018 Mini Countryman Hybrid has gearbox issues. Shifting is not possible on the paddle shifters, gearbox slips and shifts uncleanly. Grinding noises, slow response, emergency mode. Anyone seen this?

Sounds similar to a problem I had with my Mini. I also experienced some gearbox issues. Have you checked the car computer for stored errors?

Yeah, error was stored in the error memory. Affected control unit defective. You had the exact same error?

Yep, sounds like the same transmission diagnosis I had. Grinding noises and slipping too. Workshop time.

It was the control unit, gearbox shifts smoothly now.
