Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, I checked the pressure in all tires, and they seemed fine. The tire gauge didn't indicate any significant difference. Could a slow air leak really cause the power steering to fail?

Yes, a slow air leak can indeed cause these issues. When the tire pressure drops below a certain threshold, the system might trigger the ABS and power steering systems to act erratically. Since you've confirmed the tires are properly inflated based on your tire gauge, and the issue persists, I suggest a visit to a workshop. They can perform a thorough check for any air leaks or issues with the tire monitoring system.

Just wanted to close the loop on this. Turns out the valve in the tire was indeed defective. I had it replaced, and after paying 280€, all the issues are now gone. Thanks for the insight!

I had a similar problem with my Mini Countryman. A low tire pressure warning triggered the ABS light and caused vibrations. First, check your tire gauge to confirm the pressure in all inflated tires. Are all tires inflated to the correct PSI? If so, the tire monitoring system might be faulty, or there may be a slow air leak.
