Mini Countryman Oil Pressure Warning

No visible leaks that I could find. It's a Mini Countryman diesel. The warning light in the speedometer came on too. You mentioned a simple fix, but what exactly did you do to resolve it? Was it just an oil change, or was there more to it?

Okay, so in my case, the oil pressure issue was indeed related to needing an oil change. If you've got no visible oil leak, I'd lean towards that being the primary issue. Honestly, with those symptoms, I wouldn't risk driving it too much. I'd suggest getting it to a workshop and have them check the oil and oil filter. Better safe than sorry, right?

Just wanted to close the loop on this. Turns out it was indeed the maintenance interval exceeded, as I suspected. Had an oil change and replaced the oil filter. Cost me 165€, but the warning lights are gone. Thanks for the input, it helped me push to get it resolved quickly.

I had something similar happen with my Mini Cooper a while back. I also saw the oil pressure warning lamp light up. Have you checked for any visible oil leak around the engine or under the car? It might be a simple fix, like tightening a bolt or replacing a seal. When was your last oil change?
