Mini Countryman power window issue

That's a frustrating situation. I seem to recall encountering a similar power windows malfunction with my Countryman. Were all the windows affected simultaneously? Did you notice any unusual sounds before the failure? In my case, the window motor seemed to be the culprit, but it turned out to be a more general electrical issue.

Indeed, all windows stopped working at the same time. Prior to the failure, there were no unusual noises emanating from the window mechanism. When you mentioned an 'electrical issue', could you elaborate on the specific component involved?

In my case, it did turn out to be a faulty window control unit. I recommend a visit to the workshop. It seems they were able to pinpoint the source of the problem relatively quickly. Is there anything else I can help you with?

Thank you for your advice. As suspected, the diagnosis indicated a faulty window control unit. The final repair cost was approximately 200€. All power windows are now operating as expected.
