Mini One AC Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Mini One is experiencing air conditioning issues where the system no longer cools or switches on. The suspected cause is defective valves in the air conditioning system. A suggestion was made to check the pressure switch for a possible refrigerant leak, which can shut down the cooling system. The issue was confirmed to be defective valves, requiring a repair at a workshop.

Thanks for the quick reply. Where is the pressure switch located, and is it easy to check? Was it a big repair when you had the same issue?

Yes, that sounds very similar to what I experienced. Honestly, I didn't check it myself; I just took it to the workshop. I'd advise you do the same to accurately diagnose any refrigerant leak and overall temperature control issues.

Thanks for the input. I took it to a repair shop, and it turned out to be defective valves in the air conditioning system, like I suspected. Repair will be around 1000€.

Sounds like a pain. I had something similar happen with my Mini One. Check the pressure switch; a refrigerant leak can cause it to shut down the whole cooling system. Is your AC efficiency normally affected?
