I haven't checked the crash sensor connections myself. Where exactly are those located, and is it something I can easily inspect without special tools? Is airbag deployment a risk?

I wouldn't recommend messing with the crash sensors yourself, especially worrying about airbag deployment. It's too risky. In my case, it ended up being a faulty connection that the workshop sorted out. Is it worth a visit to a professional for proper airbag repair?

Thank you for sharing your experience. I took the Mini to the workshop, and they found a defective plug connection in the passenger airbag. The airbag repair cost 95€, and the SRS light is finally off. Appreciate the help!

That's a tricky one. I had a similar issue with my Mini, and the SRS light was constantly on. Did you check the crash sensor connections? Sometimes a loose wire can trigger the error. Could it be a potential airbag recall issue?
