Mini One damping adjustment fault

Oh my goodness, that sounds like a nightmare! I had a similar issue with my Mini One the vehicle suspension felt totally out of whack. Was like riding a rollercoaster on a normal road! Did you notice any particular conditions making it worse, like speed or specific road surfaces? I hope you get to the bottom of it soon!

Interesting that you mention road surfaces. It does seem more pronounced on uneven pavement. When you had the issue, did the error memory also point towards a cable or plug connection, or was it something else entirely?

Yes, the error pointed to the damping control module, but after some digging, it turned out to be a corroded connector. I would definitely recommend getting it checked at a workshop; messing with the vehicle suspension yourself can be risky. Better safe than sorry, especially when it comes to suspension tuning!

Just wanted to close the loop on this damping adjustment fault. It was indeed a defective cable or plug connection, as suspected. 95€ later at the workshop, and the bumpy ride is gone. Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it!
